​Track 5 from DOOM’s Madvilliany album is one of my favorites. Not only does DOOM boast about how unparalleled his flow and lyrics are, he also raps about how if they came out of anyone else’s mouth it would be trash. I agree to DOOM’s accusation, I always give everyone an opportunity to have a new listener but those who are “DOOMbots”, a term coined by me to categorize those who have completely tried to emulate DOOM’s rambling and raspy voice. Also, this is one of the first times I actually heard DOOM, it was on a season one episode of Boondocks titled “Lets Nab Oprah”… I believe I was in the 6th grade at the time.
