Chance’s close friend and rap colleague, No Name Gypsy is an independent artist as well. Further clarifying how sensible it is to learn and produce your own music. If making money is the goal while you’re creating music, you’d think you’d want to be good at it. Chance and Gypsy completely bodied this instrumental, the funny part is that they were both “playing in the booth” with off the dome bars and connecting old pre-writtens. The pre-meditation to create a great track, is what I loved best about this. There’s no need to “correct” Chance’s nasally voice or No Name’s monotone vocalization with audio editing tools, the two are talented enough to use that to create more authenticity in their raps.
